Teixeira was drafted in 2001 by the Texas Rangers and made his major league debut in 2003. In mid-2007 was traded to the Atlanta Braves and traded to the middle of 2008 in Los Angeles of Anaheim. His Career
In 2001, Teixeira re-enter the draft and was selected by the Texas Rangers with the fifth
