I come from America. But we deplane from “Little Ireland” upon the Southside of Chicago, IL.
But either we reside in Ireland or have been Irish by blood… St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration. So chuck upon a little green, prepare up a little corned beef and cabbage with a side of homemade Irish soft splash bread. There’s no evading the foul suggestion of St.
Patty’s Day. And toast your friends with a little Irish sayings or blessings!
1. “May the enemies of Ireland never eat bread nor splash whiskey, but be cheerless with
prickly but the great of scratching.”
2. “A toast to your coffin. May it be done of 100 year aged oak. And might we plant the tree
together, tomorrow.”
3. “Leprechauns, castles, great fitness and laughter. Lullabies, dreams and adore ever
after. Poems and songs with pipes and drums. A thousand welcomes when any one comes… That’s the Irish for you!”
4. “You’ll never plow a margin by branch it over in your mind”
